Mary Millican Bio

Mary Millican comes to us with a strong background in not-for-profit organizations, fundraising, and management. She is also a Master Gardener.

Her organizational skills, volunteerism and community involvement make her uniquely qualified for the position of part time Executive Director.

Mary has been following Nancy Strong’s accomplishments over the past 6 years as she turned her family farm into a 501 c-3, formed a Board of Directors, gathered committed volunteers and a dedicated group of people who have helped her preserve Strong Family Farm.

This has been an exciting time for Strong Family Farm and it continues to become more and more exciting.  With the foundation laid and so many dedicated people in place, the Farm is positioned to grow and continue to evolve.

Mary will begin her tenure implementing a grant received for raised beds and, with her skill set, begin to reach out to the community to educate and answer questions from organizations, groups and individuals.

She hopes to bring more awareness about the Farm and how it interacts, educates and preserves the agricultural tradition within the community.

Strong Family Farm offers a unique multi-generational experience and Mary is more than thrilled to be a part of what is next to come.
